A French style dark red-ground ormolu-mounted sevres porcelain vase and cover, painted with francois boucher scenes to the front and landscapes with landscape to the reverse , within elaborate gilded scrollwork borders, the shoulder flanked by ormolu maiden herm handles spilling baskets of flowers, with a waisted neck form emerge from the body enriched with gilt foliate pattern, surmounted with a gilt ornate domed lid with ormolu berried finial, raised on an ornamented conforming socle above laurel-wreathed footed plinth with four corners of flower heads.

The pair of vase rest on two veined dark red marble pedestals, crowned with ormolu corinthian roman style capital put down on an exceptional aged ormolu finely cast faces with a foliate guilloche running border to the base.
